Cuttack lifted the Purna Chandra Behera Memorial Trophy by emerging champions in the Senior Women`s Inter-District Football Championship, which concluded at Titilagarh in Bolangir today. Cuttack rode on a brace by Sasmita Ekka to trounce Bhubaneswar `B` in the final 3-0.
Sasmita struck in the 19th and 62nd minutes After Shakina Nisha drew first blood in the 15th minute. Sports and Youth Services Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi handed over the trophy at the closing function.
